The art of layering has never really come naturally to me, so as I experiment with having a style blog, I find myself trying some new things from time to time. I think that this is, widely & principally, a good thing. Layering is certainly not something that's "new", but that said, it's most certainly a work in progress for me. I always really, really love a well put together outfit, and find that one of my biggest downfalls is owning a bunch of stuff, and not really knowing exactly what should go with... what else. Also, this top is sort of a repeat offender (see last here & here), but I really just love every single thing about it.

I love this outfit. I have a few mini skirts that flare like yours and I've never thought to pair them with super black pantyhose/tights - whatever you want to call them - and a fresh pair of nude/rose heels. I'll definitely have to try that out!
