We were asked to tackle the pajama dressing trend for this week's Style Panel challenge, and though even the words "pajama dressing" are a little off putting for me (since, in my mind, pajamas belong in the bed and not in my office), I decided to tune into my adventurous side and pair my very silkiest blouse with some oversized trousers for something slightly "pajama esque". This is the closest I can come, you guys. I came to realize that there is something slightly understated & sexy about this simple pairing, and I'd hate to admit that I may have been just a little bit converted. I'll be dressing "business creative" from now on (more on that later), so this was an ample opportunity to try out something new to me. Next on my radar: a pair of flowing silk pants for the Spring like these (on the beautiful Alicia). Totally fun.
P.S. This shirt is deplorably wrinkly, which I have pretty much no excuse for at all. Also, you'll notice a poor editing job on the last photo that was meant to remove some gross ol' ciggie butts. Umm, brokeh?
