I thought about something that I could blog about and Spring outfits has definitely been constantly in the fore front of my mind for the past few weeks! One thing that I have been so excited to bust out for this Spring is straw hats. I lived in them last summer, and know that it will be the exact same this year. And how excited are you all to wear bright colors these coming months? I love that the bright colors are so in for this year and thought these green pumps add the perfect touch to every outfit! Hello, lovely readers of Doll Parade! My name is Kate, and I run a personal style blog called O My Heart! Hi everyone, I'm Anna Jane from the blog See Jane. While Kristin is off on vacation, I'll be providing you with a little post that showcases the outfit that I wore to the Arcade Fire concert last week.  I didn't want to wear my usual (indoor) concert uniform, which almost always consist of denim.  Instead, I wore the brightest pants I own with a sheer, lacy top.  As for the shoes, I changed it up a bit and weared a wedge (but one that's still comfortable enough for dancing) instead of flats, which are most comfortable when you're standing at concerts.

It’s Danielle here from hellodenj! I am so excited that Kristin asked me to fill in for her while she jets off to St. Martin and the Bahamas. I don’t even think I need to say how jealous I am… ok I’m way WAY jealous. I can’t  really complain though – I recently took a trip to Chicago to visit my sisters and had such a great time! 

The city is so beautiful and has an awesome vibe, and let me just say, the shopping in Chicago is insanely good, INSANE people. Luckily we didn’t have all that much time for it or else I’d bequite a few pennies poorer. As for the outfit, I’ve been really into mixing prints lately, and this seemed like a perfect easy combination to explore the city. Stripes, florals, and leopard print all at once? Yes please!

Hello Doll Parade readers! I'm so happy to have been asked to take part in Kristin's guest blogger week. As a new blogger (it seems strange to even call myself that, to be truthful!) I am embracing this opportunity to say hello and hopefully share my little blog with more readers.

It makes me especially giddy to share my first guest post on Doll Parade - truly one of my favourite blogs! I'm lucky enough to not only know K. in real life, but to share a sister-like friendship with her that has spanned - whoa - almost 15 years! We go way, way back. It's fitting though, to be posting on her personal style blog, as we've watched each other's style evolve tremendously over the years. I've always been and continue to be inspired by her knack for taking risks and having an intangible ability to make basics look stylish. If anyone knows how to embellish, it's my best friend.

This outfit combines two of my favourite colours - black & red. I'm a sucker for red lips and have been wearing them with the most casual or dressed-up outfits for the last year or so. So fun! The skirt is a favourite of mine - it's full yet light and it adds a certain edge, I think.
