Unexpected Hues & A Giveaway!

Popping in to show you an unseasonal colour that I found myself in this week. Mustard yellow is not something that I'd generally expect myself to choose on a warm Spring evening, but I found myself wanting to pair the embellished collar & hue of the fabric with the wash of these jeans. This tunic is pretty dear to me, and I don't know why I don't wear it more often. Statement pieces that can stand on their own without too much fuss are my very favorite, and this one fits that bill perfectly.

Vintage Dress Giveaway!

Hello readers! I post to you this Thursday with a first for my blog: a small little giveaway. I have had this vintage dress for awhile now, and thought it might be time that it made its way into another wardrobe. I chose it for its florals, since Spring is slowly and surely approaching. I have always wanted to hem it in order to make it a short little shirtdress, but I'm so not inclined to do things like sew that it has never happened. Take a peek!
