There is always a certain time of year where the air shifts slightly, something has clicked, the Summer has gone, and it has become Fall. (That may be almost verbatim from a SATC episode, but it's just really true). This weekend was the quintessential "last long weekend of Summer", and really, it was. I could just feel it. I had a small cold on the go & a lot of take-home work, but I still made the best of it & get a lot of little moments in here & there. Watching the "blue" moon on Friday night, triple soy lattes, a 15k bike ride through the trails, an impromptu visit from my parents who took me out for a birthday dinner, evening walks, and a literal full day of relaxing - kind of an irregular.
On days like these I'm most often in something comfortable & transitional, and this cream knit-meets fuschia-meets indigo blue denim seemed to fit the bill. How was your weekend? x

I absolutely love the feminine contrast between the fuchsia and the cream in this outfit. What a dream. On you especially - you give it such a classic feel. Beautiful!
