Desperate Bowties

Bowtie: Unknown / Skirt: H&M / Boots & Blouse: Thrifted reNeu Boutique / Tights: Hue / Bag: Michael Kors "Hamilton" / Stole: Vintage / Coat: Unknown / Earrings: Little Burgundy / Watch: Guess

Well, I'd be lying if I said that these weren't a little bit old, but it's just so darn cold out around here that I wouldn't be caught dead standing outside for any reason whatsoever, let alone outfit documentation. I wasn't sure if I fancied this set so much back when it was taken, but desperate times call for desperate bowties. If you follow me on Instagram, you'd have seen me add another bow tie to my rotation, a piece I'm excited to style in Spring (which seems oh so far away...).

This weekend I'll be attending some shows that are going on as part of the local Shivering Songs festival, something I also attended last year and made a Polyvore set blog post about. Not much has really changed from last year's round-up, except that with these temperatures, I'll probably be wearing my parka. If you're local or within driving distance, come say hello would ya.

Have a great weekend everyone.

I know exactly what you mean about not going outside! Your look is great here though! The monochrome is so perfect for winter.

I feel like with this weather, older photos are acceptable, without question. - plus I do love the bow tie with this look! No one needs to be frostbitten for the sake of fashion!
