Perennial Knits

Sweater: Zara / Scarf: F21 / Pants: DL1961 / Shoes: ALDO / Sunnies: ASOS / Earrings: H&M / Watch: Guess / Bracelet: O My Heart / Bag: Michael Kors "Hamilton"

This week we were asked to showcase our take on styling the knit trend that's been seen on runways as of late for FASHION Canada's Style Panel. It is no secret that I will reliably love a good knit pretty darn hard, and with living in a cold climate (during Winter months), it's not only fun & visually appealing to outfit myself in layers, but absolutely necessary.

I went with a mix this time around, pairing one of my most favourite basic turtlenecks with an (ultra) oversized scarf. I wanted the varying colours & textures to allow this portion of the outfit to stand on its own, making it strategic versus sloppy.

It also seems from my last few posts that I've been swiping on my brightest pink lip colors at every single liberty. Anything we can do to get us through these next few months of dreariness, yes?

Great way of styling the sweater. Love the color of your pants. And the bright pink lip looks great on you and it is a great way to add a pop of color.

I adore this look Kristen! Those pants are fabulous and I love how you do that bun! Sweaters like that are perfect for the winter months. They are so cozy and chic. I love how you paired it with the scarf. And I agree about the lipstick! I've been wearing a lot of pinks lately and its probably to add a little bit of spring to my day!
