Rewind - Dark Horse

This Friday's rewind post takes us back to September, when the season was just starting to change, and I was way excited about warmer layers. The Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival, which takes place in our fair city each and every September, is the perfect fall kick-off. This night, I frequented many outdoor concerts, which allowed for layers and layers galore. I  think I was feeling particularly stoic the whole weekend, which prompted me to mix darks with darks… with darks, but just a little bit of sparkle at the neckline for good measure.

I hope that everyone has a really wonderful weekend. I do not have too much planned besides a big ol' house cleaning, and I think I will leave it that way. I've been craving some serious quiet time, and in this weekend I see books, mildly pricey wine, duvets, and maybe even a drive to the ocean. Bon Friday!

Haul that duvet to the couch for maximum duvet pleasure! & I love that harvest feeling so much, it's such a wonderful kick off to fall, and such a perfect time to bust out all of the fall goodies you've been dying to wear! Happy weekend, love!

Ha...I remember those days, late summer when we were actually craving the cool days ahead (fast forward to today...we are all screaming for the warmer weather to arrive again). Sigh, we humans are so fickle :)

ps. Cute outfit...I adore the blazer!

I would love to go to a Blues and Jazz festival! We dont have many of those around here and I just love the thought of prancing around in ripped levi cut offs and a cropped tee to some blues and jazz. Bring on summer :))

Harvest Jazz and Blues seems so long ago now ... I look outside and can't remember what our city looked like before snow was on the ground. Just found your blog and thought I'd leave a comment since we live in the same city :)

That blazer is so fantastic, it's embodies what I would look for in the perfect navy blazer, an interesting cut, sturdy but gorgeous fabric and awesome details. You lucky girl!!!
