It is definitely that time of year where you are just itching to break out just about anything besides boots, black & heavy coats. And what am I in here? A heavy knit, boots, and a monochromatic color scheme. March is always a tease to me, dangling Spring in front of me like a carrot. I always loved the quote: "March days, when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold. When it is Summer in the light, and Winter in the shade" (CD). And though I've been trying to incorporate transitional pieces into my wardrobe (which can be chronicled here & here), this outfit kept me warm & comfortable for errands on a Saturday that was still just cold enough.

Love this outfit Kristin, and like so many times before you've really inspired me with an idea. My mom just gave me a gold chain - something that I don't normally wear, and on it's own it doesn't feel like me, but the way you've layered yours with a pendant I'm going to borrow/steal/reinterpret/steal this idea!

As for the dangling carrot of spring? Definitely with you there. But hopefully warmer weather will be here to stay soon!
