If you follow me on Instagram (dollparade) you would have seen that yesterday was a double cargo kind of day. It honestly rained all weekend long and it's supposed to rain all week as well, so something overly weather appropriate seemed fair. My parents were here to visit me on the weekend, and not only did I get to spend a wonderful, delicious food filled weekend with them, but finally finished outfitting my living room with some gorgeous new couches (albeit, getting the largest one up my stairwell took some major MacGiver-ing). Getting to search the internet for some decorative pillows has become my latest obsession. I'm thinking bright & graphic. Any recommendations?

oh! re recommendation for bright pillows!: i am on the hunt too! Spoonflower . com has amazing selection of fabric PLUS you can create your own and they will make the fabric for you!!! i plan on making some bold colored awning stripe cushions! so i would say buy fabric there then make em!
This is such a gorgeous look. I love the two tones of cargo gear together. My boyfriend's mom is visiting from Fredericton right now and heads back this week so she's been keeping her fingers crossed that the rain stops!! Sounds like you had a great weekend with your parents despite the rain. XO
