Top: H&M / Jeans: Gap / Watch: Guess / Sunnies: ASOS / Purse & Pumps: Le Chateau / Headscarf: Thrifted
It's funny, in my old job I was always beyond excited at the prospect of dressing up, since my dress code was very, very casual. Now that I am in a business dress work environment (that, don't get me wrong, is also a very fun thing), I find myself wanting nothing more on my weekends than my most comfortable "boyfriend" jeans (still not sure how I feel about that term), a just-embelished-enough type of top, and a variety of shoes (pumps for fun & flats for my more practical moments). Alicia (maybe my most favourite style blogger out there, p.s.) pulls this look off like no other, in my humble opinion (exhibit a & b), which always serves as a constant affirmation. This, my friends, is one thing that I love about a great blog: continued reliability. By far my new go-to look that I can sashay into Spring with, with ease.

I've been struggling with the same (opposite) problem! My entire career I worked at corporate offices where my fashion sense always toed the line of acceptable (some places people loved me for it, other places not so much), now I work in a free for all casual fashion environment and i'm confused! When I get dressed for work I feel super casz, but when I get there I'm so dressed up compared to others. I'm resolving to just where what I want when I want!
You've come up with a super stylish solution as well, looking great!

you look very sleek and refined, but still casual; love this look! i never wore denim while a student, but now that i work in a business environment, i too often reach for some comfortable jeans and layers of jewelry to jazz them up on the weekends.
boyfriend jeans are def a staple in my wardrobe! and I'd have to agree, Alicia is the queen of the casual look! I love that you had the pop of colour with the headscarf! xo
