Bundled

Jacket: Vera Moda / Dress: H&M / Booties: Joe Fresh / Bag: Michael Kors / Stole: Vintage / Necklace: Le Chateau / Glasses: Elizabeth and James "Lamar" / Sweater: Club Monaco

This weekend was full of some lovely things. I spent my weekend between work and the following: eating pad thai in bed with a movie, attending a story telling event, seeing some live music in a record shop, making homemade corn cheddar chowder (cream free - recipe to come!), and stocking up on some fresh beauty essentials (always a favorite past-time). Beyond that, this weekend was cold.. bitterly, bitterly cold. Today called for fleece lined tights, a thick knit dress with a layered sweater, a wool jacket, and a fur stole (though it constantly fell to one side - not sure of its warmth value). This week is looking a bit balmier, but for now, here's one of my best shots at being appropriately bundled. How were your weekends'?

those boots are so nice. i've been haunted by the rachel comey's that look so much like them. thinking i need to send my mom or sis-in-law on a joe fresh seek and find mission.

head to toe great outfit! xo-c

Love the way the booties look in that first photo! You were brave to do photos at all, I wimped out completely... wishing I had time to do them today, since it's only -1! I need spring and daylight savings, stat.

Your weekend sounds like all kinds of awesome. After I saw your photo of Pad Thai - guess what was the first thing I did? Mhm... It didn't help that the Pad Thai place is right across the street. Didn't even need the car ;)

PS. You look fantastic, I don't even know where to start. The jacket, those booties, the gorgeous necklace - ah!

Also - love this look. Aren't those booties the best? I have them too and they seriously go with everything.

This outfit is ... basically perfect Canadian winter to me. Faux fur, stripes, pretty, sparkly necklace and ... those boots! I'm so impressed with Joe Fresh, basically always. I adore your glasses and will probably feel the need to order them every time I see them on your pretty face. Smooch!
