Just Like That

Coat & Beanie: Vintage / Booties: Joe Fresh / Jeans: Parasuco / Bag: Michael Kors "Hamilton" / Earrings: J. Crew / Sweater: Zara Watch: Guess

And just like this, it's Winter. One thing I love about living in a part of the world with 4 distinct seasons is that every one of them brings along a new set of accessories. I've come to realize that the non-chalant beanie (or "toque" for us Canadians) can quickly pull together just about anything (even me when feeling particularly disheveled), and for that I give it 10 points. Relate-ably, I am smitten with the Stephen Jones for Jill Sander veiled beanie, though it's a controversial little bugger and not too many people I have talked to about doing a DIY version were on board. I'm also on the hunt for a wide brim fedora in a mega rich hue, and love this one and this one.

How do you and hats fair out?

x, Kristin

wowza, you look so chic and pulled together, I would have never thought this was a disheveled day for you. It just goes to show what a few quality pieces and sparkly earrings can do for a girl.

My Mother always told me I had a perfect hat and, and I took it to heart. I have several hats, but they are tucked away in weird inaccessible corners of my tiny apartment, you've just inspired me to pull some out!

I'm not a fan of hats or beanies. I think it's mostely because I'm just not used to wearing them and therefor avoid them. Even when my ears are about to freeze off! I should get a decent hat this year... . As for the suggestions you made, I really like that Catarzi hat from Asos! It's perfect for the end of fall and winter! x

This is such a chic wintry look! I am constantly on the hunt for the perfect winter hat. I do prefer a toque when possible, but lately I've been wanting a wide brim hat.
